Hello! My name is Shirley and I am a 3rd year Dietetic student. It will be my second year as a NuFSSA exec and I will be your co-VP Sports & Social for the 2019-2020 school year! Second to eating, my favourite thing to do is play badminton (but I am opened to playing other sports too)! Being physically active was one thing I found to have helped me through University by giving me a way to de-stress and make some new friends at the same time! I love the sport community at the U of A and the diverse activity options that are offered. SO ... I wanted to take this opportunity to combine three things I enjoy very much (NuFSSA, socializing, and sports) to try and bring together people in our program together through activity. This would include intermingling with other faculties in ALES. I am definitely opened to ideas that you guys may have, but hopefully you guys are also able to enjoy the activities that my co-VP and I plan on bringing forth! XOXO
